i am sorry to have to say that the nail trimmers which i had to return did not trim nails but merely filed the nail. they do not do want i needed them to do.

I looked forward to this solving my wifes problems with her fingernails and cutting. She wont let me help following a minor overtrim some years ago and I hoped this gadget would allow her to do it herself with her arthriticy hands.
Sorry to say it works but is very slow to shorten nails. It is a bit slower than a nailfile.

I was starting to have difficulty cutting my toe nails, (they have got further away!), the Trimmer keeps them just right providing I use it regularly.

I have always had problems keeping the nails on my right hand in neat trim, being right handed. They were always cut jagged, to short or to straight. Filing with a nail file or emery board was time consuming and messy. This device does it so easily, neatly and cleanly, my toe nails are a doddle as well. Just don't be too eager and press to hard.
