Lamp ok but soon as I switched it on bulb fused

Arrived intact but cardboard box was a bit worse for wear.Watch for loose salt when you remove it.Says that the bulb is easily changed but no instructions as to how to do that.Nice size for small coffee table\hall console table.

When I received this lamp I eagerly switched it on,all good,but within 30 minutes it went off,the bulb had blown,not knowing if it was a fault with the lamp,I rang Coopers to get it returned,but they didn't want it, they just refunded my money,had it happened before I wonder!
