And, you will find that every one entering or leaving the house will not be able to resist giving it a little tap as they pass to check the weather!
The barometer measures the atmospheric pressure in millibars and hect-pascals, simply mark the current air pressure with the moveable needle and observe the changes - it has markings from stormy to very dry - so you won't get caught out again!
The hygrometer will indicate the degree of humidity in the air and the thermometer tells you the indoor temperature in °C or °F (-10°C to +50°C or +20°F to +120°F).
Measures 44cm (171/4in) high.Mrs Cooper's Tip: “I keep my barometer in the kitchen by the back door.
I find it invaluable, as it lets me know whether I need a cardigan or coat whilst gardening.
Also it lets me know whether to put the washing out or not!”
