Our deluxe model benefits from a sophisticated discriminator function, enabling you to adjust the sensitivity when sweeping the ground, avoiding unwanted metals to really focus in on the exciting finds and has a 1/8" headphone jack and a sensitivity display screen. Both detectors have a height-adjustable stem and audibly buzz when metal is detected plus waterproof coils up to 20cm for the discriminator and 16.5cm for the standard version and search depth up to 14cm for the discriminator and 8cm for the standard. Both have low battery indicator and adjustable volume. Basic model requires 1x 9V battery (not included). Deluxe model requires 6x AA batteries (not included).
