    Product Details

When it’s cold, wet and windy, Nest Pockets provide natural shelters for many small garden birds, allowing them to hide away from any adverse weather conditions.

Made from natural woven plant and wood fibres, they can hold seed or nuts too and are ideal to dot around your garden in hedgerows, trees, large shrubs, climbing ivy on walls, on a fence or a shed.

Wrens, robins, tits, goldcrests, finches and sparrows are just some of the many smaller birds that will rest, eat, sleep or even nest in these safe and warm pockets.

Measuring H20cm xDia. 9cm (8in x31/2in) they are supplied with wire fixing hooks.

Due to the natural fibres used, materials and colours may vary.

    "Very Small"
    By RUTH HACKING , 18 Jul 2019
I wasn't overly impressed by the size and construction of these pockets I have seen much larger ones on other sites.
Will give them a go anyway and see if any very small birds ever use them!!

"Very Small - Not Sure If They Will Be Used"
    By Anonymous , 28 Jan 2019
These are much smaller than those available through other markets. The photo of a robin perched in the opening is very misleading - really not sure if a robin could fit in the hole, let alone turn around. Wren's maybe, and at a push blue tits. Others on the market are larger and have two holes - one smaller and one larger, which would be better. The price of the alternatives is comparable.
I have placed six around the garden anyway, as I couldn't be bothered to return them. Time will tell. Also, I put a bit of sheep's wool in each, just in case they become inhabited.
