'Jonkheer van Tets' is a culinary variety of redcurrant, producing heavy crops of large berries on long strigs in early season. The jewel-like, flavoursome fruits of this redcurrant are loved by leading chefs and are perfect for adding to pork dishes, tarts, summer puddings, cheesecakes or turning into long-lasting jellies.

Packed full of vitamins, the berries sparkle like jewels in the sun and drip from plants in long 'strigs', this tasty superfruit is perfect for adding an ornamental touch to beds or patios when grown in containers.

Happy in sun, a slightly shaded spot or even planted next to a tricky north facing wall, this great variety is robust and reliable, requiring only the minimum of care.

Supplied as and established plant in a 1.7L pot and growing up to 1.5m, although it can easily be kept shorter by pruning. Please note, it is dormant in Winter, so is supplied without leaves Nov-March/April.
