Converting your 5in and 3in reel, 8mm roll film and Super 8 film to MP4 digital format couldn’t be easier. Simply load your film to our exclusive scanner and start converting to hi-definition (1080P) MP4 format. You can watch the film on the 2.4in colour screen as it scans. Save to an SD card (not supplied) for playback on a PC, uploading to social media or playing through your TV (cable supplied). H16.6 x L26.9 x W11.4cm.
Super8 film speeds may vary. Where original format speeds are greater or less than 30FPS (frames per second), you may wish to adjust the film speed after conversion using your own preferred software to ensure that your converted film runs at a normal speed.

"Good Idea But Let Down"
By Thomas Birnie,

Was looking forward to transferring some 8mm film but gave up after a frustrating afternoon.
The take up spool supplied is poor quality and distorted so it won't take up the film properly.
The advance mechanism doesn't like splices and separated my film as it tried to advance and scan.might be ok for unspliced film
Returned the unit and waiting for a refund.
Disappointed.

Does this only scan at a certain fps rate?
Why would it not adjust the speed?
Does one need a separate Sw to adjust the result?

"Good Clear Copies"
By C Squires,

Fairly easy to use, makes good clear copies. Takes it’s time 2 frames per second so approx 45 mins per 3 inch 8mm film but well worth it. I’ve tried for years to find an affordable scanner but the family can now watch me and my family’s history from the 60’s
