Tan Woodland Garden Arch

Excellent product and easy to assemble, well up to the standard that I expect from Coopers. I look forward to seeing my climbing roses on the arch. Prompt delivery but the courier was not mindful of my property and put the package over the fence on a flower bed without attempting to open the gate

As soon as the order was delivered I was surprised by the small size of the box.
The photos on the web page showed side supports to be complete built units – each about 6ft+ tall. In fact they are each two "half" units which have to be fixed with somewhat unsightly metal jointing brackets entailing fixing 32 small screws into non marked or pre-drilled holes. This took an absolute age to do.
I therefore cannot agree with the statement this unit is easy and quick assembly - it just isn't.
I have to hold Coopers responsible as the photo is on their site. However I suspect the manufacturer / distributor named on the assembly instructions (SGPUK) hold some responsibility for not updating their stock photos.




Before I open the box to examine the contents more closely, I would be very grateful for your comments. Obviously, I don’t want to accept an item which, on face value, doesn’t appear to be correctly described.

Flimsy construction. Verticals not braced properly. Screws too short so I used my own. Timber shabby with some wood filler. Not robust when erected.
