"What A Brilliant Idea"
I would not be without my new water boiler. It is certainly the safest way to get hot water. No more heavy kettles, the only thing you will ever have to carry is a jug of cold water. Anyone who drinks gallons of tea a day will really appreciate the convenience of an immediate result, and true "instant coffee". Filling is easy but it does take about 20 minutes to initially boil, so you start to plan around that, e.g. fill it up just before you are too busy for a tea break. At first I couldn't see the water level, until I realised the simple genius of the viewing window. There are bold black & white stripes, the angle of which changes above and below the water line. I now place my cup on the worktop when filling a cup. This is because if you are holding a cup higher up drops of boiling water can bounce out of the cup onto your hand, the only negative aspect I can think of.

"Very Handy Item"
My elderly Mum has one of these, it means she doesn't have to lift a heavy kettle any more, just fill it from a jug.
She bought another for camping, and I borrow it every chance I get, so nice having hot water "on tap" in the caravan.
