Lightweight and compact for single handed use, they have two easily interchangeable steel blades, one for grass edging (cutting width 80mm) and one for trimming shrubs and bushes (110mm). And to save bending, choose between using the unit handheld or on wheels with the 60cm long-reach handle supplied.Completely cordless, the 3.6V rechargeable lithium battery runs for 35 mins on 1 charge (4-5 hours), making it perfect for trims, touch up jobs and tight spaces, and a safety lockout switch prevents accidental starts. "So Clever"
I had one of these when it was coloured bright green and I can say that the new bright orange model is just as brilliant (a pun!). I wouldn't be without my trimmer because it is so cleverly designed and strong that it does everything it is supposed to while being able smoothly to swap blades and angles Especially cleveris the slipping clutch if the blades pick up a stone or sliver of wood. I even use the "edger" blade flat toore-smooth off any clumps og grass before using a mower.
